Statement Colors and Patterns

After I was recently introduced to this very cold, angry, unforgiving thing named Hercules, all I wanted to do was find my warmest cashmere turtleneck. Thankfully, I just scored this poncho-style jacket from Forever 21 and it worked perfectly over my sweater to make it extra cozy.

For those of you who are afraid of color because you don't know what to wear it with, just take a look at this. I have these burnt orange booties and I'm wearing them with a grey sweater and a multicolor jacket. I'd say the colors mesh fabulously. Wear one solid statement color and mix it with a print or pattern!

And the look is obviously only finished when I put on some sparkle from my friends at Armed & Readi!
