I grew up in a small town in Southern New Hampshire where my entire high school population was equivalent to my eleven year old sister's current 7th grade class. I learned valuable life lessons there, like I-need-to-get-the-hell-out-of-here. Don't get me wrong, going home is always a treat, but mostly just for my mom's home cooking and to breathe summa dat fresh New England air.
My passion for fashion inspired my move to New York City six years ago, and I haven't regretted it once. Except when I'm walking up my five flights of stairs to get to my apartment. With groceries. And my dry cleaning. In heels. On the phone. But isn't that the true definition of glamour?
I work in the fashion industry, many people even refer to me as a fashionista. Ok fine, only my little sister. I love to cook without recipes. Sometimes it's great, sometimes I just have to eat it really fast before I can actually taste it. I can be a bit crafty, though I never really have any idea what I'm doing until a project is done. I try not to take selfies, but hey, some days my eye liner wings just come out great! Can't blame a sista, right?
My goal in this endeavor is to share my world and inspire every single one of you to do something new, feel a little bit better about yourself, or at least make your day a wee bit brighter.
