I am going to admit first hand that I'm only posting this recipe to show off my new Anthropologie bowls. Secondly, because it was seriously delicious.
Kirsten and I had our weekly hang out sesh, which instead of walking around the reservoir in Central Park in the morning was cooking dinner and drinking wine. This recipe belongs to Kirsten, and I will take no credit for it. Other than remaking it for dinner. And it was delicious, again.
Basically how this dinner came about- K called and said, "Hey, what are you doing?" one night after work. I said, "Oh you know, just hanging. About to make dinner." She said she was going to stop at Whole Foods to pick up a few things then head over and I said I would put some pasta on.
When she got to my apartment, she unpacked a few tomatoes, prosciutto, sea salt, fresh shredded Parmesan and a basil plant. My favorite part, I got to keep the basil plant. Thanks K! We chopped everything up, and added it to the cooked pasta.
The only cooking this meal involves is pasta. If you can cook pasta, you can make this meal and trust me, you want to make this. It's really delicious, and definitely out of the ordinary.
Happy Monday!
